49ersは第4Q残り3分20秒で１３－１６とリードされるが、QBジョー・モンタナは残り時間3分10秒自陣8ヤードラインから、のちに「モンタナ・ドライブ」と称さ

In January 1989, the 49ers once again faced off against the Bengals in the Super Bowl.
The 49ers found themselves trailing the Cincinnati Bengals 16-13 with only 3:10 left in the game and the ball on their own 8-yard line. But Montana calmly drove them down the field, completing 8 of 9 passes for 87 yards and throwing the game-winning touchdown pass to John Taylor with only 34 seconds left.
