Ric with the drop toe hold you teach how you want to teach it but you should teach them to kick the back of the knee because it looks silly kicking the ankle
If you give it a chance i tell you that it will look much better.
But still man you keep doing what your doing man.

when u do a back slide do you pull them or do they kind of jump into it

You're right about going behind the knee!!! ON the back slide go to your knees and the other person should slide back to his shoulders.
