A great tune written by Shorty Rogers originally played by Maynard Ferguson and the Stan Kenton Band. Arturo Sandoval is the backing for this video from his album "Trumpet Evolution". Sorry about the Double D and some of the wrong notes. I worked it out by ear today so it isn't quite right! Hope you enjoy!

  • I friend of mine (ex-NYJO) and currently playing trumpet in the West End pointed you out to me recently.

Sounds good - keep it up.

Great chops - a hard chart.

  • Hello! Congratulations on your work! Very good! I am a musician here in Brazil. I play the saxophone for 15 years and recently began studying trumpet. I saw that you use a mouthipiece Marcinkiewicz Bobby Shew. I wonder how long you use this mouthipiece. My current is a mouthipiece Stomvi 3C. Another thing, you study or have studied buzzing? What is your technique of mouth? Thank you for your attention and help! Congratulations again! You play very well!

  • That shit was crazy.!!

  • hey, wat program are you using to make the sound echo?

  • Do you think you can do Jungle Trap by Cat Anderson?

  • AMAZING :)))))

  • THIS LEVEL YOU ARE PLAYING SOME MISTAKES IS HIGHLY FORGIVABLE. CONGRATULATIONS!

  • What is the name of this song? By the way, sick skills

  • Very nice man. I'm 27 and I play trumpet as well. I also have to man up and admit that this song isn't that easy. Thats a 4 minute and 15 second song of pure pain. When you can't hit the high notes you get frustrated. I'm not saying that as your getting frustrated. I'm saying you as in every trumpet player that has ever tried playing this song. Good job man

  • that is insane! your a beast dude! maybe your maynard ferguson reincarnated
