Quote taken from news article on Wiiloveit.com

"The revamp of the DS lite will feature a larger stylus and screens, a "channel" based system (similar to that of the Wii), downloadable DSiWare games and apps, and SD card support, alongside the two 0.3mp cameras. The console will be compatible with most existing DS software, however the lack of a GBA port means that you won't be able to play Guitar Hero on the move any more."

  • problem with DSi, that i know of, other than nintendo

    1. Taking away Ability to play multiple region games

    2. forceful mandate of their firmware

    3. circumvention of homebrew

    4. inability to upgrade ram to support homebrew such as quake

if im wrong i'd like to know, I mean I know there are flash cards but the ram used GBA slot

  • 1) You can play DS games from any reason - just can't download games from different region's shops.

    2) The firmware usually improves the system, unless you use homebrew, unlicensed features etc.

    3) The reason they have to circumvent the homebrew is because many people use the technology for piracy reasons such as downloading games instead of buying them for free, and Nintendo NEED to sort this problem out. Blame those guys for not having your homebrew, not Nintendo.

    4) Well, duh!

  • Where can i download the moving notepad app? i checked the dsi shop where i live and it is not on there, help please?

  • As it says in the trailer, the app isn't available just yet, but don't worry: there shouldn't be long to wait now, with a release due during "Summer" :)
