This will not be free. Someone will pay for it one way or another. I watched a show today that had a guy who was in charge of 14 hospitals. From what I got out of it there will be less staff and fewer hospitals if all this passes. Also if you have group health care now it will be considered a taxable benifit and will be taxed as income.

I think we should have a plan like HR 676, with an option to opt out for all the people who don't want universal healthcare. That way, everybody is covered and everybody gets what they want. If you opt out, you get a tax credit. A simple yes or no check box on the 1040 form. Do you wish to opt out of universal healthcare? yes/no.

Sam Walton and what he did in just a couple decades, Wal Mart became the wealthiest business in the world and they don't even make anything just by skipping a step or two in the distribution chain!

The way Govt. works is the "Money" that greases the skids. That is what has created these accounting schemes. They certainly wouldn't shell out 2.2 billion in healthcare Lobbying if they didn't think they'd have a return on their Dollars. Why continue to support any representative who has bought into things like "Pharma 'D'". The message gets around.
