So there would be the washing of the calico the sizing of it taking 3 to 4 coats of silk vynl to do so, I even had canvasses on my wall for 3 weeks before a new idea would suddenly dawn on me others I just had and then had to gather all the imagery and try and make the wording as spare as possilbe yet still having impact. then there would be the painting and the re-painting of the banners that had been shown the most. So no one time scale can be given for any of them, and does it really matter?

A police officer asked me that I told him 45 years. They vary I havent made a painting in ages, the gestation of an idea used to take anywhere from three months to its execution and once that starts then everything else in my life used to stop until it was done which is very exhausting very all consuming and as I smoke like a trouper when doing so not good on the health.
