  • Hey Mike. Long time watcher of your channel. I would suggest that you purchase a PR3 from Digitrax and download the Decoder PRO software. Also suggest downloading Soundloader as well so that you can input sound. Decoder PRO is the best software that I have found to most of this work which makes speed matching, speed steps and other misc. options a breeze. I have a ton of experience in using Decoder PRO so if you ever need some consultation please message or email for more information.

  • @prognosis2001 Thanks , I actually have done that and have been using it as a stand alone. I am converting over to Digitrax on the layout again as well to be able to use the new SurroundTraxx.

    Thanks , Mike

  • hey what would you recommend for a starting dcc system. i have the n scale jupiter and 119 (transcontinental trains) I have limited money and would love to use something rather than a power box to power a loop. what do you recommend.

    thanks, Dakota

  • @hellfiress28 I would suggest an NCE poer cab or Digitrax Zephyr.

    Mike

  • @mrfifer Hey Mike, um how do u wire your layout or how do u get power to the tracks? I'm really new to it so if its a stupid question sorry, but i just want to know.

  • @minecraftluva21 I do not run a bus wire but rather a wire all the way to each block from the control panel.

    Thanks , Mike

  • @mrfifer I bough one a week ago. Piping coming off the body. Missing 2 handrail stantions. Ginding sounds, binding in the front engine, very big wobble at ALL speeds. Last IM steam I will ever buy. may be the worst production quality control item I ever bought. I just cant believe they would package somthing like this.

  • @cherryontop1990 Thanks , The room is 8' X 19.5' and I have been at this one for about 3 years or so.

I am glad you enjoyed it!

    Mike

  • You used? ** comment cut off I'm guessing. I can't see so maybe a pointless comment due to using iPhone.

  • Just laid on the sofa and watched up until now from video 1. Time has flown by and seeing a model railway go from nothing to a master piece is incredible.

You've done an amazing job on this Mike. I'm in the process of making the table for mine and been watching videos and this one is inspiring.

Considering I'm from England and don't really know what the Mexico/America scene is like. Apart from Florida. It's great.

Amazing job. Must of spent a lot of time making it? - what size room have y
