@elmotouchesme97 No, time can exist in any dimension so time can't be the fourth dimension. You can't create a tesseract by sending it forward and backwards in time or any fourth dimensional object for that matter. To create one you would need to be able to move in another spatial direction.
@elmotouchesme97 That being said, I still don't really understand hypercubes. I don't know if the animation is progressing forward in time and we are just seeing a 3D cross-section of the cube or if this IS the cube itself.
@elmotouchesme97 You are correct. But consider this analogy to understand how to regard "time" as simply another direction:
If we were two-dimensional and time was the third dimension, we could be continually traveling up. Our decisions and random chance would determine if we travel up and to the right, or up and to the left. The 3D point to the left of us would be like an alternate universe in which you chose to take the bus instead of ride your bike. We cannot move down.
@sander945 Seeing in 4d implies that you yourself are 5d :o... my head hurts lol. But ya if you were 4d you could look at a room and see from every angle at the same time. It's like how we look at an entire sheet of paper at once, but a stick figure on the paper could only look at one direction at a time.
What if universe isn't infinite? Maybe its just like a tesseract... Never ends but you still are in the same place as before O_o.. I don't really know if what I know is true so don't take it seriously...

@elmotouchesme97 Time isn't the fourth dimension.... it's the extra dimension.

right, seeing as no-one here seems to understand, TIME IS THE 4TH DIMENSION!!

@RSwtfboom no, if he could see in 4d, he would be able to see time itself...

@RSwtfboom Seeing in 4D... If I'm right it would be something like a wall hack in games? xD We would see through things and I know it is awesome :)

@flowiepanda But I want to be in this world and see in 4D... I want to be the only one! If we all would live in 5D world we all would see in 4D too.
