Sounds of Silence

As part of the Salvation Army in Canada's "Partners in Mission" campaign, Bloor Central is holding a silent auction on the evening of May 24th. It will be in conjunction with our first annual movie night, also a fundraiser.

All proceeds will be donated to the Partner's in Mission campaign which this year is focusing on the Salvation Army's work in Mexico.

The Salvation Army is currently involved in extensive relief efforts in Mexico due to massive flooding in the region. As well, the Salvation Army works in poorer suburban areas of Mexico where poverty is great. In these areas the Salvation Army runs children's education programs, shelters and provides meals and clean water to residents.
