Thanks mate! I was thinking "what kind of fool would rip off a piece of the roof in order to secure themselves to the framing?""......haha...then you explained that they are removable. But how does one secure themselves to the ladder? Ladder is solid, what about preventing my freefall? Inexpensive mountain climbing gear should suffice. Like to see the video so we can have the whole safe package. Thanks again.

We had a company clean our roof and I don't think they had all of that safety gear. I was honestly nervous about them being on the roof.

@derekshun60 You need about 2-3 bungy cords in place to hold the ladder really tight. Otherwise the rope around roof truss is safer.
