I remember when GWW and Citizen Cane were rated as 1,2 in the critics's choices for the best movie of all time. But of late it in some polls it has dropped to below 10th place. If a motion picture is supposed to have a good story, good acting, and is visually entertaining then I believe GWW belongs on any critic's list in the top 5.

I love VIVIAN and of course she is the ONE. But I´d love to see how the movie could have been with PAULETTE GODARD. She is the only one cappable to show that fire, that that sexy shemale thing that is necesaire to play Scarlet. In my opinion Paulette had even more streght, but less sophistication than Vivian. With no doubt, she´d have been Scarlet if Vivian hadn´t appeared.

I was nineteen in 1987 when I watched Gone With The Wind for the first time, and had no idea if I'd enjoy the film. I fell in love with Vivien Leigh as soon as she said "fiddle-dee-dee". A few minutes later I fell in love again, with Olivia de Havilland. It's still my favorite film.
