October 2008. After the DeLorean Owners Club UK Meet, and after driving one of the other owners' cars, Jonny (me), a DeLorean enthusiast, is given the chance to drive Chris Hawes's DeLorean DMC-12 - another member of the UK owners club. Chris's car is Vin#5255, a 1981 build car, grey interior with manual transmission.

Chris's car is available for hire through the website http://www.delorean-hire.co.uk - He has completed weddings, birthdays, special treat rides as well as TV work - his car was recently featured on Channel 4 advertising an up and coming cooking season starring the likes of Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay.

  • I wish I could drive one! You have good taste in cars man.

  • Thanks man! Depending on where you live, there has to be an owners club or association that you can join. Given time you never know one of the owners may give you the chance to drive one. I was just REALLY lucky to know such awesome, giving people to let me drive their cars that have no doubt cost them £1000's!

  • Hi, what mods have been done to this car? What sort of exhaust does it have?

  • @BBBfights pathetic

  • @robdmhaze scared whore watching gay cars

    closet fag

  • Try $10,000, JohnFromSpace. The economy is so bad here in America you can have a completely refurbished car and have trouble selling it. Plus you have to think of maintenance. There were only a few Delorean dealers here in the US. I know the Florida one closed up shop for sure. Bad economy. People can't give them away, even sparkling. Very sad.

  • i'd have to swap the engine if i got a delorean....

  • awesome

  • @JohnFromSpace WHERE? HOW?

  • @SovietTelevision In the video he clearly says stage 1.

  • Lucky bastard...I wish I knew someone with a DeLorean that would let me drive it! I'll have one someday...
