Confederate battle flag is now a symbol of preserving cultural traditions.

"The flags of the Confederate States of America were very important and a matter of great pride to those citizens living in the Confederacy. They are also a matter of great pride for their descendants as part of their heritage and history." (Winston Churchill)

---

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." (The 10th Amendment to the United States Constitution)

---

"...when the government becomes destructive to these ends, it is not only the right but the duty of the people to rebel."
(Thomas Jefferson, The Declaration of Independence)

A konföderációs hadilobogó - mint amiképpen az árpád-sávos zászló - egyes liberális körökben gyűlölt szimbólum. Valójában mára az európai hagyományok jelképeinek egyikévé vált.

  • The flag was only flown from 1861 to 1865 in other words, during the civil war. It was to represent the confederacy which was about having the right to vote for slavery. If you fly the flag that basically means you are representing the views of the confederacy. What a clever way to pass your racism off as pride for your heritage

  • The Civil War was about slavery alright. Because the Yankees won, almost everyone is a 14th amendment slave under the US CORPORATION, while the American Republic has layed dormant since 1871.

  • it's funny and sad the u s government used the issue of slavery to raise war to strip state individual freedoms and now they're using terrorism to strip personal individual freedom

  • @bluegrassreb1 Well said and every bit true to the tip. True American here boys salute him if ya see him. /salute

  • @TThorne931 Read your history book Lee was the son of a Preacher who despised slavery .Lee's family was rich but did not have any slaves .After the war he was a Dean of a military Academy .He was asked once what he thought about it and said " Slavery was doomed to fail.He knew it would never last .He was fighting for the South because that was his home and she was being pillaged

  • you seem to forget that other african tribes in africa captured thir OWN people from other tribes, the us did not capture anybody, they were bought from africa, from africans, they sold thier own people.

  • @invisibullrogue This person referred to WW2 as the 'War of English Aggression against Germany'. "Head, meet desk" doesn't even cover it.

  • @invisibullrogue The south had Concentation camps bent on Racial extermination of the Patirotic Americna Citizen and Had places called Plantations where they enslaved captured Black American Citizens . The South was focused on violation of states rights like the ILLEAGAL FUGATIVE SLAVE ACT which sent you filthy jackbooted slavers into the hills of boston . They were fighting slavery look into the Constitiuon of the CS .

  • @TThorne931 Lee was general of the Confederacy during the civil war. 1861-1864. The nazis were brought about in Germany (a different country) in the 1930's. their peak era was 1940-1944 which also includes WWII in which they had the concentration camps. and 2 totally different thought processess . one was fighting for southern rights ( which wasnt focused on slavery) and one was racial and religious extermination.

  • @invisibullrogue Jesse jackson is a worthless Nigger who should be hung for being a Radical Confederate bastard . Explain how Lee wasen't a Nazi jackboot slaver
