Well its comedy gold now, but many modern judges still act like this!

Without the wig and gown of course, but they are still handing out opinion based on old fashioned beliefs, personal bias, and false information.

It would all seem funny if you didn't go to prison for 5 years for being caught getting "oral comfort" from your wife in Virginia in 1969!

Not that I did, I was only a baby at the time, but others did, and served hard labour.

    The whole System is ridiculous!

  • @neohip which is just why it IS funny? Sadly....

  • so white so middle class, an audience primed

  • @MATTNOUTCHCOS

    Yes.I know.

I live half a world away from you, though we all recognise poor judgement when we see it.

  • @sockington1

I thought a satire was half a goat! lol..

Forgive me for not being as well versed in comedy as you are.

I now see the error of my ways.

Thank you for furvouring my edukation!!.

BTW,What can one do with a fork handle?. I only wanted four candles!!.

Well forget it,I already know your answer, and it is both unpleasant and un-hygienic.

  • @neohip er, it's called satire - you berk

  • @neohip It's meant to be real its based on what people believe to have happened for that Lib Dem wanker

  • I can't believe the audience found this funny.

Many, many judges still behave exactly like this,

As a man who has been summoned countless times to serve on a jury of "peers"and forced to convict a man for growing the wrong type of plant on his farm ,this clip is sadly entirely realistic.

  • Also Thorpe was represented by Sir David Napley who incidentally charged, guess how much (at the time) ?£400 a day maybe ? No, £400....an HOUR. Of course thats his prerogative if hes got clients who have enough money to pay it but if theres anyone who can possibly twist the truth about face to get the worst offenders off SCOTT (excuse the pun) free then its someone who can command THAT sort of fee

  • Pete rightly taking the piss here of probably the most stiched up trial (typically) in British criminal history where Jeremy Thorpe, the ex-leader of the Liberal party & well 'made' old Etonian was amazingly CLEARED against overwhelming evidence (!!!!) of conspiring to murder a troubled young man with whom he had been having an affair so it wouldnt (though it would later) ruin his political career years earlier. Thank God for people like Peter Cook (tho there was no one quite like him ! )
