Le Poème Harmonique is a musical ensemble formed by Vincent Dumestre in 1998 mostly playing 17-18th century French and Italian songs.

As I was taking the horses to water I heard the cuckoo sing,
It told me in its language: They are going to bury your beloved.

Not exactly - my english is not very good, but the song says (more poetically) : It's a man, bringing his horses to drink, hearing a bird singing in its bird language that they're buring his lady. Hearing the bells, in the church hearing the priest singing, he kick to the grave, saying "awake if you sleep", the lady answers I'm not sleeping, my mouth if full of ground and I'm waiting for you in hell, near me is a space, and it's for you they kept it.
