If you've never heard of Peter, Bjorn and John, then what have you been doing for the last 12 years?
These highly talented Swedes are all skilled musicians in their own right, apart from the band we all know and love. Björn is a successful producer of acts like Lykke Li and Primal Scream, John has released 3 EPs with his alterego, Hortlax Cobra, and is a member of the band Holiday For Strings; while Peter has released 2 solo albums, one in English and one in Swedish, as well as an album with the band Tutankamon. But when these three gentlemen are together, something magic happens.
Best known for their global hit 'Young Folks', the band have many other sounds and tunes that equal, and if not better the pop hit that brought them to the limelight in 2006.
Now touring and promoting the latest Album, 'Gimme Some', The Basement Sessions had the privilege of two amazing intimate, and fairly ively, performances when they were last in the UK.
