I saw it there 2 days ago! it was really cool! i think it opened march 14??does anyone know any info on the temporary ghost on that sheet thing in the ride??
Just got back from WDW and we did not really notice the Haunted Mansion construction. There was a wall keeping you from seeing the graveyard though. That's the only intrusion into the experience. I loved the Winnie the Pooh queue.
I'm surprised they continued the spikes on the iron fence along the wall in the new part. I was always told that by modern standards, they are way too dangerous and if the original plans for the wall had been held to modern standards, they wouldn't have been given approval with those spikes on there. The inclusion of those spikes in the new section tells me to add that rumor to the "False" column of things I've heard throughout my years at MK.
@joshdarkensins I agree. I like the whinne the pooh queue but it doesn't seem to blend in well with the rest of the building. I think that once they open up the fantasy land expansion it will fit better.
Looks like you can't see the contruction when you're in the current queue, but only when you take a ride on the riverboat... is this true? I'll be going to WDW soon and don't want the atmosphere in line ruined by ugly construction walls.
