This machining example is being run on a DX612 with a KMT Streamline Pro 60HP pump. The material is a Delron type plastic .750" thick used as a wear surface in the food processing industry. The pump pressure is adjusted down to 60,000 PSI, the abrasive is set to 0.7 lb/min. and the machining speed is set to 40"/min.

The available material size was entered as well as the fact that we wanted 9 parts cut from that available space. The True Shape Nesting capability of the METCAM software arranged the parts automatically and created the machining path.

Several pump sizes are available from 60,000 to 90,000 PSI and from 50 HP to 125HP depending on your job requirements. The DX is also capable of adding a second ITC cutting head that when coupled with the right pump will double your work out put.
