I own this keyboard and it DOES use AA batteries. Just remove the single screw at the bottom of the keyboard. They're a bit of a pain to remove because of the annoying plastic flap that covers them. I threw them out in exchange for Duracell rechargeables. The rounded keys is what I like the most. Good on power, unlike the Performance MX mouse. I'm switching that for a G700.

@FlossBandit so great to hear invalid criticism from someone who has no videos of their own.

had to pause the video because i thought there was another video playing in a different tab. audio is shit...

@BroBryce2009 Thank you very much for the info! It really is a great keyboard.

@yesreen I actually think it would end up wrecking the battery over time. You're better off to just charge it once a month or whatever. It has really awesome battery life.

Would continuously leaving it charging--in the USB port--cause a problem?

@smokemadbuds991 Thanks smokie. It's a great keyboard IMHO. My family uses the PC as an entertainment center, and I also use it for a video & audio editing workstation. It's got really fast action and is very responsive, in addition to being the coolest wireless light-up home entertainment controller :)
