Enjoy a ride video onboard an OC Transpo 2011 New Flyer D60LFR, #6526, on the Canada Day Shuttle, heading to Parc Jacques Cartier. This vehicle has a Cummins ISL9 engine and an Allison B500R6 transmission.
This video was taken on the whole length, between the National Gallery of Canada and Parc Jacques Cartier, via the Alexandra Bridge.
The Canada Day Shuttle was operating on July 1, 2011 to connect the venues between the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa and Parc Jacques Cartier in Gatineau, using the Alexandra Bridge for quick access. Note that the Alexandra Bridge was closed to car traffic that day as well, and only pedestrians and transit/emergency vehicles were allowed to use the bridge.
