  • what is evaporated milk? :S I don't think we have that in Sweden

  • @Sheidipeidi Evaporated milk is a super concentrated milk that you normally mix with water. It is used a lot in desserts. If you do not have it go ahead and substitute it for cream. Thanks for stopping by!

  • Very nice dessert. Raisins do add flavor but if you prefer, try adding chopped dates.

    As for me I prefer only about 2/3's cup of sweetened condensed milk as too much sweetness takes away from the flavor of the rice.  But to each his/her own.
