I guess people don't realizie that the hmong dance they have come to know is not really hmong dance. It is an adopted version of the laotian dance as Hmong people migrated into Laos from China 200 years ago. Now even the very dance of their ancestors is considered wired to them. They know only the adopted version of the Laotian dance as Hmong dance, that saddens me
