Phill Jupitus celebrates Calvin and Hobbes, the comic strip about the little boy and his stuffed tiger named after eminent philosphers. Phill sets out to discover more about the characters and the man behind them
I may not have been born when Calvin and Hobbes was released and discovered it by accident long after it had finished... but I remember how much of an impact it had on me. I still read it over and over again to this day - it just never gets boring.
That's the mark of a good comic; that it has timeless qualities which make it attractive to any generation. Massive respect to Bill Watterson for keeping to his artistic integrity. He's one of last few great comic writers and we should applaud this.
