This is Mark Hilkemeijer playing an original composition called 'Tsunami'. Mark composed this song some days before the tsunami made many victims the 26th of December 2004. He dedicated it to all of the victims Mother Nature made that day. This piece is the second part of Mark's 'World Wild Water Pieces'.
In April 2005 this piece won the first prize at a national contest called 'Ik Kan Componeren' (translated: 'I Compose').
Thanks to everyone's support and best luck to all victims. God bless you. Hope you appreciate this video.

Another great part to your series. I love the intro, and it only gets better as the piece progresses.

Such an alluring opening to the piece. I love it. It is just like the calm before a storm. And its wonderful how you've dedicated it to the tsunami in 2004. You've translated their pain, hurt, and loss into a beautifully moving composition of music. Wonderfully done! You have a talent. Don't ever lose it. Absolutely wonderful, keep on playing.
