In 2009, The Possible Dreams International team began a project to bring clean water to the community of Mambane, a rural commmunity in Swaziland. 3000 people in the community have been drinking muddy water for decades, resulting in very high mortality rates secondary to diarrheal disease. Possible Dreams International organised the drilling of a bore hole, the purchase of an electrical transformer and water pump as well as a 10 thousand litre water tank for the community. The following video shows a few images from the day on which water flowed for the first time.... the final segment shows Matron Anna Zwane and Babe Elliot Matsenjwa describing to the community what this gift will mean for them, and the importance of taking ownership of it as a group....
