A beautiful day in Arizona, and my mini patriot garden. I welcome anyone that can give me advice on growing corn and carrots.

  • Awesome!!! I need to get mine going. Absolutely amazing. Did you use non-hybrid seeds? I don't know much about gardening, but non-hybrid seeds are the best.

  • All organic seed

  • put-em in the ground!

  • Not many bees around anywhere anymore. Very strange. Heard a couple years ago they were disappearing and no one knew why.

  • Sounds good to me.

No bees? Whatever happened to the Africanised bees? Weren't they gonna take over the world?

  • I am starting 10 corn plants at a time, and 3 survivors so far. I am starting 10 more tonight. Have not seen a bee yet this year. Peace

  • See ya until the next one!

  • The thing is about corn: You need many plants. Polinisation will occure if you have many plants. If you have just one, you'll never get any corn from it. Bees are a big part of that cycle.

I'm guessing that having a flower garden close by will actually help you get corn.

    I think that's fascinating.
