thanks so much for making this recording. I'm finally starting to get somewhere with it! My problem was the timing. The metronome has made it clear for me.

@bbdhrggl That's what I usually do when I learn a new piece, but I wasn't sure for this one as the way it's played is more advanced than the actual notes. Thanks for answering right away :) I will follow your advice.

I just have one small question. How should I practice this piece? Do you recommend to learn the notes first, and then learn how to make it sound correct?

@726rach that's what I do, but try to follow the dynamics (playing quietly takes practice on an acoustic piano). adding modulations/feelings comes later.

I finished the first 11 measures and I am able to play them fluently and it makes so much fun to play this song but it gets harder and harder because of measures like 4:25 - 4:50 (left hand). I wanted to say thank you for tutorials like this jane! Today I had my first "real" (i dont know to call it sorry) piano lesson. And your tutorials helped a lot, i am an advanced beginner :)
