I think there are other important issues than stirring up ethnicity which has been a destructive element in the past three decade. Why not portray something that will bring about peace, unity and brotherhood among tribes which is badly needed in Afghanistan.

I have seen the film, here in Denmark. The film is very populare here everyone have seen it. The film had a good story, but there was some few things that wasn't correct, and everyone was upset about it, it's the chapter when a pashton guy rapes the hazara boy, Hassan.
And i am glad that they havn't let the movie been seen in Afghanistan.

it's spelt Pashtuns, by the way... and he doesn't hate them, the novel just gives an outsider the understanding of the country's state, the Pashtuns were in control of Afghanistan for some 200+ years, it was the Hazara's who were sadly oppressed.
