Long John is a Wooden Boat designed by Pete Culler in the early 70's. This boat was built at Sagamore on Cape Cod in 2007. In this video Uncle Mike and Grampy Paul set out for the sea trials at Pocasset, Ma. Winds were 25 mph out of the Southwest, so we did not venture out very far on to the open water.

  • Cool dory Uncle Mike, hope mine works as well.

  • I will pass your regards along to Uncle Mike. I watched your slide show, good work. Can't wait to test the sails out in the Spring.

  • Hey, great job! Please can we have a clearer video of it in the water when you get chance?

  • Will do. Cameraman not familiar with zoom function, very windy, and sun was coming in directly to the lens. Also hope to try the sail later today if the fog lifts will bring the camera along.
