Sega also always seemed to be ahead of the technology curve. When the gameboy was out they had the gamegear and nomad. I just picked up the sonic's ultimate genesis collection with all the classic genesis games on it. Hopefully they will put out a new system for next gen in the future( with the next wave of consoles).

yeah man, i do miss sega's consoles. my first console was the sega megadrive. with the first sonic game for that console. i loved it, its what got me hooked on games. yeah now it may be old and not as good as todays games, (at least thats what somepeople think) but to me that will always be the best sonic game. i am sad sega has stopped making consoles, but i think that their strong point is games. if i where them i'd do the same. let someone else make consoles so i can focus on games.
