This place was "Utopia" , (a little inside joke). I wouldn't even know where to start or how to describe what a great place SE Asia was. We visited Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, but I made a little slide show here from some of the best/worst moments of our 4 week trip through SE Asia. I definetely had a good time, and I know the boys did too. Anyhow, I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story....enjoy!

hi. nice vid. im planning on going to veitnam this year. never been and going on my own. im 22. on wikipedia it says for a month's stay can start from a backpacking US$250-500 Using basic rooms, local food and open bus transportation can keep it very close to the US$250 per month. info may be a bit out of date. but is this true. i dont need luxury i want ean experience. wb thx
you can get around Vietnam inexpensively if you look for hostels (or guesthouses). I remember we found one place that was $5 / night. reference a guide book, we used Southeast Asia on a Shoestring which I highly recommend. Traveling by air is expensive, stick to buses/trains. Be careful of cab drivers! We had a bad experience in Hanoi when some cab driver thought he could rip us off by making the meter run up fast. Be wary of holidays (Chinese New Year), rooms will be scarce. have fun!
thx for that. what was thailand like. that must be more expensive as its more of a tourist attraction. is it better there or just different. i will prob go to both any way. thx
thailand is definitely more touristy..but it has really cool temples to visit, unlike Vietnam. If you're not into that, really the only thing left is nice beaches and some awesome partying :)
weather wise....probably Jan to Apr...or Sept, Oct, Nov...summers are hot and humid, if you can take it, otherwise wait for spring or fall...just avoid chinese new years and major holidays, you'll save yourself alot of trouble
hey yea it's a great vid. But I belive the name of the song is Ka Yee A Sone Hti by Lay Phyu. Roughly translated, i think it means "until the journey's over" :D
