Kool Mixx crowds were rough like Apollo crowds...the audience would boo almost everybody. If 100 people came to see the DJ competition, 700 more people came to see The Roots, Common, Busta Rhymes (whoever was headlining), etc. for free.

@bugstrut Nah, I don't think these were ever officially released on DVD. Since Kool is a major corporation, they were probably afraid of gettin' sued for featuring unlicenced songs. Kool Mixx tapes float around the underground like New Music Seminar/Superman DJ battle tapes.
