Luo's way seems to be influenced a lot by Hsing - I. But he is obviously a master of his art and can apply it at a high level. He is the leading exponent of the Tang Shou Dao system in the world today without a doubt.

@TaoBoxer i totally agree, when you're fighting a group of people you can't look at just one and holds your hands up by your head, you must go large with your focus and see a larger picture, like peripheral vision.

I have one question that I am curious about but mean it with the utmost respect. If Luo's instructor Jiang Zhun Feng didn't complete his Bagua training with Gao because all the Chinese documents say he only finished maybe 30 percent and filled the rest with Xing Yi. How is it possible that Luo is able to teach SO MUCH pure Bagua?

Truewoman after reading your comment I was wondering, what are you master of. I have trained under Master Luo De Xiu. His power and skill are great and he knows his MARTIAL ARTS. Regards Mantej

Hey "truewoman", if you really are one, stop pretending like you know about fighting and get back in the kitchen! JOKING, people, joking...but seriously, man, talking big when you know shit is also "not a good idea, not a good habit".
I think it's common knowledge that all of the Brothers crosstrained in each style, and that while Hung I Hsiang favored Xingyi, it was by no means the only tool he had. Luo also trained with Hung I Mian as well, I believe. Not every teacher is going to inspire every student, but I don't think Luo's credentials or skill can seriously be held in question.

The idea of not staring directly at an opponent is very common. Using "soft vision" or peripheral vision is an excellent tool. Don't dismiss things so easily.
