Meh. The music was... bearable, the choreography was lame and lots of cats were off.

I don't like the Misto/Vicky... it doesn't fit and feels wrong!!

@imaginationroxmysox Our pit orchestra was made up of adults who had performed in the Broadway production, notby our fellow students. And the choreography was, as I've said in the past, the original Broadway choreography.

I'm not sure what you were looking for, but if Broadway-caliber music and Broadway-style choreography isn't good enough for you, I guess all I can say is that you've got a long road ahead of you.

@Alex0821 You do realize that the original Broadway choreography was created in 1981, obviously their level of standards and technique was different then our own; over 20 years later.

@imaginationroxmysox Actually I agree with that: the choreography was held to a MUCH higher standard back then than it is now. Case in point: Spring Awakening.

Whats so wrong with MistoxVicky???? I think it fits better than MunkuxVicky, which is another pairing I like, but I see problems with it... Besides, its not like they outwardly state anything like they're brother and sister or anything...

@imaginationroxmysox I think the music has more to do with the quality of the recording than anything else. It was actually quite good but I imagine the recording altered it some. As far as the dancing, it wasn't terrible by any means, but something that happens with regional productions of Cats sometimes is non-dancer actors are hired and they have to more or less make due. Remember this is not a Broadway production. :P

I rather like the costumes and vocals! The choreography is quite basic, but trust me, I've seen thing much worse than this! I do admire it!
