  • @MoonCrashed - It's chronologically fucked up. What about the thrust trail coming from the back of the ships? That's more consistent with 2097 rather than the first Wipeout, where the craft used afterburners. Annoying...

  • @fluffinatra

If that were the case, then why go out of the way to emphasize that the game is set in 2048?

I think that you can connect the PSvita to the PS3 so you can get the video on your TV. I'm not sure about the control, but Sony promised "Full PS3 integration"

  • I need a flash blocker these dam adds are getting on my nervs

  • only psp vita?? OMG

i remember playing whipeout on ps1, best game i had back then.

they should release it to ps3 to!

    or remace the ps1 version!

  • This needs to be ported to the PS3 with a better framerate. Wipeout on console is always a better experience. ALWAYS

  • @retroscient Yeah someone said it was a cross platform gameplay demo so it showed craft from Wipeout HD. Thanks though, glad to hear that

  • can someone PLEASE tell me the name of the song in the background?! I NEED IT

  • Amazing can't wait!

  • @WildMorgan To be fair, I've played the demo and in that all the AG craft have jet afterburners not pulse streams, and in some cases they have two jets each, like in the original game.

  • whos he looking at

  • @danagol1985 - They may have closed down but they're sure to have evolved into something else. It wouldn't be hard for Studio Liverpool to headhunt the main peeps from The Designers Republic and form a new team. 2097 was the coolest racing game ever, it was so atmospheric, something which Wipeout is lacking these days, even though I really enjoyed HD and the Fury expansion, it just wasn't the same...

  • @WildMorgan Could not agree more. Good to see that someone else is thinking like me. However, The Designers Republic are now closed down :(

    Such a shame...

  • Wipeout HD was my first ps3 game coz i'm big fan of the series. I might even buy PS Vita coz of it!

  • Is the music in the video from the actual game?

  • I'd by a Sony Vita just to play this game! I absolutely LOVE Wipeout! I still have a PS1 just so I can play the original Wipeout games.

  • I WANT THAT ! NOW !

  • @WipEout2048 - If you are in any way affiliated with Studio Liverpool, please ask them to re-employ The Designers Republic, or whatever that company has evolved into now, so that we can have the cold, bleak but ultimately super cool setting of the first two games in the series (I can't say if Wipeout 3 had that same setting as I never played it, I'd upgraded to a Dreamcast by then). Wipeout HD is cool and all, but it's lost that edginess and mysteriousness of Wipeout 1 and 2097...

  • @WildMorgan This video is showing a mixture of HD cross-play and 2048 gameplay... if you want to see more come and have a look at out latest trailer at our youtube channel :)

  • @WizardPlayHD Thanks for the support!

  • 20 New Ships??

  • @WildMorgan Agreed, I would be so glad to see some sort of consistency in the timeline becouse I'd LOVE some more WipeOut lore.

  • So this is basically Modern Wipeout 3?

  • Yes! Anulpha Pass!!!
