Never understand why they always remake films which were already fanstastic. The 1950 version is so much better than this one.

omg, i thought i was the only one who had this video on youtube... thanks for posting the complete version... i only had a little bit of it. this is the best Treasure Island version byt far. there is no way that it can be topped. The cas alone speaks for that, to be sure. and the score...yes, it's brilliant... i have seen this film like more than 100 times in my youth and i still walk around whistling the songs sometimes.

treasure island never gets old its such a classic ive been watching it all my life. sad charlton heston died and some of the guys that played the pirates (george marry) i think israel hands (michael halsey) may still be alive. also great plot couldn't have been much better. book is really good to and more good guys die like tom gets his head blown off

The best movie of my childhood. When i saw it now - 10 years from last - the film was a much better than i can ever think it will be (and i knew it was one of the top) ...amazing story, awesome film work for year 1990. It got my heart! ...again...

Definitely the best version of Treasure Island out there!! Most definitely one of the best movies out there too!!!
