I remember being around 19 and going down to 6th Street here in Austin and clubbing at The World and Abbratos and Backstreet listening to this... and believe it or not X was legal back then. Talk about a trippy good time...It was so weird thinking about it now. I mean, we used to dance all night and leave the club and the sun was coming up and people were all out jogging and stuff. I miss it!

Brings a tear to my eye. A lot of memories. This was pretty much the theme song of my coming out in the 80's.

@alex7700585 the Ocean Club? Cool! Are you from Houston? I remember that club along with Power Tools and #'s
Hell yeah another Houston native here. I am 39 going on 40 and saw them waaaaaay back in the mid 80's at....... FAME CITY. Yes, yes anyone remember that place ?. I also was at 6400, power tools, DV8, shark dance, numbers, club ECT, and a whole bunch of others as well. I grew up in Alief and went to all Alief schools. Graduated from Elsik. I was always a short distance from the major roads like westhiemer, richmond ave. Went to Yucatan liquor stand. Great times and well.. THE X-N-ACID

I must say that the comments about THIS song are pretty heartfelt.. i remember those times... some of the -check that the best times of my life. i would not change those times for all of the internet, ipods and whatever else we have now. i guess we would not have the I-net as we know it either..
you all understand what i mean.
