and again just by doing a regular bridge he could sweep you over and be on the top... so it is sort of risky to do it with a person who at least know anything about wrestling... no offense man... you are still awesome

I agree... Stick with the arm triangle. Helio himself said that any choke is better than any joint lock 1. because a man can always fight with a broken arm if he's determined, he can't fight when unconscious; 2. if you miss the choke you don't give up position. Still, not a bad sequence.

i'd take the arm triangle its there even before the pass is completed. Good to know i could armbar if i wanted to though. Definitely worth keeping in your back pocket especially for full mount players. I perfer side mount but this is still nice to know.

i agree with gorilla , i dont get why when you have a tigher choke you would put on the armbar that he could escape from ?
