  • @peterhoward: Eric is not "gone".

  • In reply to doctrDave, Johnny Olesh had the original film transferred to VHS videotape and sent it to us years ago. Recently I converted it to digital using the inexpensive Diamond Multimedia One-Touch video capture interface and provided software. - Diane

  • The recording of Last Thing On My Mind is from the White Brothers' Live in Sweden recording, which we plan to re-release on CD this year. - Diane and Roland

  • So wonderful to find this! It's been a long time..........

  • Like the song, the musicianship and the home movie. Typical American family of the 50's, enjoying life and playing Traditional American music. A lot less complicated time. Really like this.

  • i hate to be a colonels/white brothers noob, but what song is this? :P

  • wow Eric White is my papa..its crazy the things you can find on the internet

  • Clarence - gentle soul - you live on in our hearts.

  • I'll anxiously await the release of that album on CD. One of my all-time favorites...thanks for doing that!

  • This video made my day! Thanks so much for sharing this with the rest of the world.

  • An advice with reference to MattyNorthstar's post.. This isn't the version of 'Last thing on my mind' that is on the Silver Meteor album, which I have.

That recording features Clarence playing flatpick guitar and singing solo with no other accompaniment.

It is a great track; as is this one too!

Clarence's death was without doubt one of American music's most tragic and senseless losses.

  • LOVIN IT,GONNA SUGGEST THIS TUNE FOR MY BAND,KILLER

  • My friend Gene Parsons brought me to Clarence's music. It was one of the greatest gifts in my life.
