I guess I can never have too much of parodius da! Redone and completed game and to replace the older individual vids.
Grrrrrr that pink cloud stage got the best out of me as I lost 4 men there.. although 1 death got edited out.. if it wasn't for being so troublesome (being pushed forward by those bubbles and then fearing teh flying bunnies and that 'unwinded' woman gave birth to too many pixies)... I might have done this with one life.. Y_Y

Again the pc engine version is a great conversion with some minor faults namely having 2 missing levels and a few slight pauses here and there almost as if its loading!

well the shower stage is exclusive only to the SNES/Super Famicom version.. it dont appear in the arcade version either.

Great version of this game. And funny that there's a Nintendo DS lying aside of the PC-Engine in the beginning of this video, because actually I play this game with a PC-Engine (TurboGrafx)-Emulator on Nintendo DS. It works perfect and is as much fun as always. Gotta love this game!

i don't know about other consoles, but when comparing all SNES-gradius games and parodius da! on the SNES, parodius is a LOT more difficult.

i've beaten the gradius-SNES-games on the hardest settings, but despaired in ever beating parodius da! on difficulty level 8 combined with loop 9 (honestly, i don't think it's possible).

anyway, i love both games. :)

I don't think you could ever say it's even nearly as hard as Gradius though!

I wouldn't call Parodius a kid's game, it can be just as hard as Gradius. Plus in the last shmup installment, lots of half nude women are in it.

well it is a parody of gradius,the same company made it :D

there were 3 arcade parodius games wich i know that all 3 were ported to snes,gameboy and nes (altrough i think that only the first parodius is ported to gameboy and nes)and pc engine,the 4th game was sexy parodius with almost nude chicks in background and the last game was parostrategy or something like that wich was a shit strategy game,they should have kept it the way the first 4 game were

nice video! too bad about the 3 missing stages captain kebab, the ice level and the showerstage. other than that i really like the pcenige parodius da!.

i play the snes version quite often.
