I agree with what you say, that is except for the view that Christianity is not worthwhile, but thats your choice, its not for me to say what you are to believe. I loved when you said if you have something and it goes away, you are not going to care. I never really thought about that before. It is a very valid point. I am also going to buy the book, thanks for recommending it.

@hihosh1 with technology is totally possible, the way for us to save ourselves is to stop using fossil fuels, change our living habits and stop being so selfish. We also need to colonise the moon so that less people have to live on Earth.

I would rather use a French drain system than the ^%^%^ in a bucket technique, where things go back into the ground using a pipe running into a chamber fill of rocks sealed up so that the trees can feed on it. I lived on a small holding in South Africa and we lived by collecting rain water from our roof and using an electric water pump so that we could have showers and all of that we used an electrical system which heats the water as it exits the shower head to have hot showers.
