Alice beats up Cindy the Elephant

My wife Alice talks about a fight she had with Cindy the elephant when she was 8 years old. She claims that the fight was in self defense but she had to be dragged off by two teachers. She had to talk to the school counselor. She was forced to apologize to Cindy's trainer, Cindy, and the other children who witnessed the beating.

Admittedly Cindy had a long history of violence and had to be shuttled between several zoos during her lifetime. Cindy has now moved on to the great elephant sanctuary in the sky, but within the elephant psychiatric community the question remains. What traumatic incident in Cindys youth sent her down the wrong path? Was it something during her time as a baby elephant promoting a shopping center in Nevada? Or was it a traumatic confrontation with a pudgy 8 yr old girl with a powerful right hook? We may never know.
