Bloom's far more impressive here being disciplined & cerebral than when he's blustering & shouting in the red faced angry man persona in public debate in the EU tower of babel chamber, he needs to adapt his public debating style to this more controled 1 as it's far more effective. I always thought he was a bit of a light weight until I saw this.

Oh dear he hasn't said anything I haven't known for the last ten years, but I'm relieved to hear someone else say it....the summary is that the country is in complete denial...grasping at straws to blame someone or something else other than simple OVERSPENDING by the government. It doesn't matter who has been spending this money, its the fact that they are GETTING it at all. Governments don't seem to be able to work out what is necessary expenditure & what isn't.

Ignorant Republican-like Conservative British politicians think austerity spending is good, but some others, who are smarter, think austerity spending is retarded and should never be used. European Union should hire Paul Krugman as their top economic adviser. That would fix the world economy.
