The Bob Log - Sugar Plum/ Christmastime is Here

My homage to the bizarre TV Yule Log tradition. Plenty of floaty things in this fireplace to make you hungry, thirsty, curious, confused and cozy. And things you'd love to burn.

The original TV Yule Log ran every Christmas on WPIX when I was a kid. It was many hours of this hypnotic shot of log burning in a fireplace with cheesy holiday background music. If you watched closely, you could see where they looped the footage because the same bump on the log would Ploop! Reappear!

Obviously I spent waaaay too many hours watching this surreal TV fireplace. I'd always wanted to make my own Yule Log with more surreal stuff going on besides a large stick on fire. So when they replaced The Yule Log with the Ab Master/Pasta Genie Infomercial, I made The Bob Log.

My original Bob Log is about 20 minutes. I will post short excerpts from it over the holidays.
It makes little sense, but it's fun to zone out to.
