BRILLIANT COMMENT SugarKatie. He is a selfish drifter who doesn't know what he wants, BUT, when he finally knows what he wants, as in this scene, HE CAN'T OR IS NOT ALLOWED TO GET WHAT HE WANTS! It's funny and heartbreaking at the same time! I finally understand this complex scene.

Ha Ha! In a few words the movie sucked so don't waste your time.No ,he's not taking revenge on the waitress.She was a bitch to him for whatever reason's and she pushed him to her level.

can somebody, please, explain in a few words why he is being so mean here (I didn't watch this movie)? Is it like he is taking revenge on the waiter or something? Why he went ballistic when the waiter finally took his order? And why was he complimented later? Is it like none of the four were originally planning to eat in that restaurant, but rather wanted to create a scandal?
