A unique tradition

A tradition of dressing wells with panels decorated with flower petals. Unique to the county of Derbyshire and some neighbouring counties. A very old tradition that dates some say to pagan times and revived in the 20th century and still practiced today and is a great tourist attraction to the area during the months of May to September.
