  • @climberinco That sounds like a carbon copy of the damn rig I was on this spring. % gallon pail of oil on the top of the chain case with a hole drilled in it, dripping on the chain. Hole the size of texas on the bottom of the chain case from the last time it snapped. Glad I am gone.

  • I work offshore, western australia, the scottish are the most arrogent fucks/bosses i have worked with. We are moving away from working with fuck heads, which is going great for the industry. Plenty of aussies can do the job

  • Had the blocks come partly down on an Ideco double. I was the worm at the time on the breakout tong. We where trippin out 9000', the slips set with a thud and we had the tongs wrapped around the pipe when I heard the Driller screaming. I looked up to see the Motorman bailing down the V-Door stairs and the other Roughie headin for the Doghouse, turned to the Driller, he was screaming at me and pointing to the stairs, with the brake on the floor broken. I worked those stairs like a pro. Lol

Thank fuck no one was killed cause there aint no tradesmen to fix that. Tradie requirements: 1 Take on the challenges. 2: Respect how hard the crews work. 3: Be apart of the crew. 4: Know your shit.

  • @mtbiker4870 ha you fucking canadian prick,

  • We were tripping out @ 9000' when this happened. It's a grey wolf rig.

  • Just to clear all your thoughts on what happened. I was there, I was the last one off the floor. The main drive chain for the draw works broke. Because it wasn't getting oiled properly. The oiler was clogged with rug, silicone, and mucky crap. Thus the blocks started falling. Driller hit the break and that failed too. Breaks were wet from a leaky coolant line. I was on this rig for a week before this happened. POS death trap rig. Ate hands alive. I'm lucky to be alive. We were tripping out at
