Ronnie's best ever performance. I think his pot success finished at 98%! Higgins got his revenge though in the grand prix in September and in the Masters 12 months later. A 10-9 finish on the black which is the finest snooker match I have ever seen. Cheers for the video too!

@SchuleJHG the 147 against selby in final frame of semi final might be the best thing ive ever seen

@siki993 no at his peak he is the best.....maybe not tournament best but pure ability nobody can touch him....even hendry said he was the best

ronnie is not the best player because of tournaments he won, but because he made so many people around the world wanted to play this game and be like him. he just has that something that makes you wanna see more, something special that no other player has.
i mean, just listen the crowd

@TheRocketExpress I see it as federer vs roddock

i sort of see it like federer vs nadal - each has his own strengths. despite his success, i actually don't see federer as an excellent clutch player - like ronnie he is a great front runner but he isn't a great closer. however, his flair and technical skills are w/o a doubt ultra super - but that alone doesn't win you all the tournaments.

@RihannasBikeSeat I agree with you that Higgins at his very best is a master. But O'Sullivan at his very best is a god. I don't know whether you watched the World championship in 2004 or in 2008 or the Masters in 2005. I've never seen something like that before. He totally destroyed every opponent and played the best snooker ever. Many experts or former snooker players like Davis or Parrott agree, and even Higgins said that O'Sullivan at his best plays a standard, which no other player can play.

@Mr2010Master, nah, Higgins in 1998 produced THE best two weeks of snooker of all time to win the world title, and he's handed O'Sullivan a few hidings before, too; the World Championship semi final 1998, Grand Prix final 2005 etc. I don't buy this idea that O'Sullivan's top form is unmatched - he couldn't have played much better than he did in the 2006 Masters final, but Higgins still pipped him there. They are incredibly close and evenly-matched, in EVERY way you measure it.
