**Disclaimer: I paid for this--she didn't send it to me just to review, so I hope that the video doesn't give that impression. I checked out her website as soon as I saw her video promoting her new store, and this piece just SCREAMED for me to buy it. I'm so happy I did!

We know her as phanie12 here on Youtube, but if you haven't checked out her Etsy store, you are totally missing out.

Seriously, guys...the piece speaks for itself. I promise that you will NOT regret any purchase you make from her...you can watch her videos here:

This is absolutely without a doubt the most amazing piece of citrine I've ever seen. My lighting doesn't do it justice (and yet it STILL looks great on camera!). It sparkles even when there isn't any light at all. Each layer of crystal is visible--it's just incredible. As much as I'd love to leave this piece out for everyone to see, I have a feeling that it's going to reside on my altar, because it's just WAAAY too tempting for others to touch.

The info she included is also fantastic. She's a teacher, through and through, and the sheets are so informative--it's convinced me that I need to get a book on Crystals that lists all the same aspects for a huge variety of crystals, because there's so much to learn about them!

Thank you, phanie12/HibiscusMoon, for opening a store to allow us to buy some of your gorgeous crystals and stones! If the ones you're selling are this beautiful, I can't even begin to imagine how gorgeous your own personal collection must be!

The prices are MORE than reasonable. I can't imagine what this piece would have cost me in a store--and I got it for only $17.00! Oh, and she always has FREE shipping within the U.S.; what more could you ask for?

Now go forth and buy!

  • um...hate to hate on phanie but I suggest u check out my latest videos on citrine... that is not citrine... but most likely amethyst that was heat treated. Ctrine is a type of quarts - and actually looks nothing like that. Please check out my latest 2 videos - I'll email them to you...

  • @livinluxuriously - I have tons of citrine, both the smaller points like you show on your video, as well as the darker kind like I received from phanie. I know that some people heat-treat amethyst and sell it as citrine, but if you watch this entire video, you'll see that she sent info discussing the fact that it is Madeira Citrine. This particular piece has the lighter color beneath the darkest part, and then gradiates down to white. Citrine and amethyst are both in the quartz family.

  • I would like to tell you that this citrine that was sent to you has been baked. It is not real citrine. I do not want to make you feel bad but research citrine and its color and you will see that its actual color is a white wine color and anything darker has been baked and called citrine. I send you blessings and ask you to do your own research on citrine.

  • @nicopetromac - I appreciate your concern, but I have no doubt that this is Madeira Citrine. I HAVE done the research, and I have a dark piece of "citrine" that is actually amethyst, as you describe. The two specimens are COMPLETELY different. The one from phanie has the lighter gold color underneath the deep orange, and then goes down into white/clear. There's a good image at 1:16 that show this. I know phanie well, and she knows her crystals. She would never sell a "fake" crystal to anyone.

  • Love your videos... isn't it amazing how things just work out. The store in my town just went out of business and I was looking on-line for a store to shop at. Then here I am at your video and wouldn't you know. 8o) thanks for the post.

  • Yay! Nothing is coincidence, you know! (I know, I say that all the time.) Definitely check out HibiscusMoon--she's AMAZING! And watch her videos too, while you're at it, because she's probably the most knowledgeable person on crystals and stones that I've ever "met." (Her user name is phanie12--I put it in the video and the sidebar, but apparently I feel like repeating myself. Heh.)

  • no one said she would. But amethyst & clear quartz are two VERY different types of quartz in terms of their vibrational frequency, energy fields, & metaphysical properties. For 1 they both resonate with totally different chakras - & a citrine quartz made by man will always have a much weaker energy field than 1 produced by earth. If you own citrine purely for show than I guess it matters not -but if you plan to use it for healing you'll not get the desired result as its divine purpose

  • @livinluxuriously

Absolutly very diferent in it's vibration field..

    Thank you for sharing!!

  • @livinluxuriously The Earth can also produce citrine by heating amethyst producing a deep brown citrine aka Madeira. This is more rare than the honey or white wine colored one. The lab treated Madeira has a red tint...that's the only difference.

  • @livinluxuriously YT will not let me respong here...pm'ing you. :)

  • @phanie12 mother earth creates citrine with heat as quartz at its molecular core. Men in labs oven bake amethyst, which is very different from quartz (clear) metaphysically, to create what they falsely call "citrine". Metaphysically a man made citrine versus one from earths' labor are very, very different in their energy fields..

  • @nicopetromac Hi Nico, Even if is heated artificially, it is still classified as citrine. Amehtyst is also a type of quartz. They are both still SiO2. Natural citrine is created by Mother Earth heating it. Lab citrine is created the same way. This artifical heating is not enough to change the molecular structure of the crystal so, IMHO, the healing properties are preserved but lighter.

  • @livinluxuriously Hi LL, You're not hating on me in any way. :) Now, let's discuss. Even if is heated artificially, it is still classified as citrine. Some well known crystal authors agree.
