Paul makes it bad in this. Paul an Yoko tried to get it years before, for about 20mil. Mike got it for 46million years later. A corporation bid 48 million but their financing fell thru. Leaving Mike the winner. Yoko even said she was glad he won because she didn't want he catalog to go to a corporation. His lawyer is the deal maker too(same one over his estate now). He told Michael about its auction and suggested he buy it. And got the higher bidders financing pulled. Mike only wrote the check

Paul McCartney may have a lifetime achievement award but so does MIchael. Both are great artists with bigger than life achievements. They can both be seen as great pioneers in the music and entertainment industry. I love the songs and videos they sang and performed together. I don't look at them and say one is better than the other because both are extraordinary in their accomplishments. And, I believe they both remained friends in spite of this financial endeavor.

I'm always confused when I see people say that McCartney was robbed. He had his chance and he turned it down. Yoko Ono actually likes that MJ got the winning bid. There seems to be a lot of conflicting stories out there but if you read enough of historical information you'd be able to figure it out. MJ has a brilliant business mind - and not just with the Beatles catalog.

@MRJACKSON19581 - MJ should've backed off & let Paul own what is rightfully his instead of outbidding him, that was a betrayal on their friendship. Neither of them are saints, obviously MJ was no saint & never compare him to GOD. So, Paul gives him advise, MJ steals Paul's rights & you call him a Saint, that is just bad friendship & betrayal if you ask me. He should've bought other music & not outbid his friend to later say that's just business Paul. That is bad business & friendship.

@MRJACKSON19581 Paul McCartney is credited as the most successful music artist of all time. It's in the Guinness Book of World records. He has 60 gold albums and has written/co-written 50+ number 1 hits. Neither of the two are actually "saints" but Paul is now Sir Paul McCartney. Sir Paul has won a Grammy for lifetime achievement award and and honored by President Obama for great contributions in music. Michael Jackson was a very talented artist also, but he ain't got nothin' on Paul McCartney.
